TRAVEL | FRANCE

Been hiding out in a little bungalow (see below) in the Corrèze region of France. Activities included Al fresco family BBQ, Dordoigne swimming and visiting the house I lived in when I was very little. 

Caught up on some reading and totally recommend John McGregor's If nobody Speaks of Remarkable things and Jeffrey Eugenides' The Marriage Plot. Now a weekend camping trip in The New Forest and then reality will resume(sort of)so this blog will stop resembling a diary. 

ZINE | JEUNE ET POLI

Words cannot describe how much I love a good zine and my most recent uncovering is this new zine project by French photographers Juliette Gaudino and Michel Nguie that coincidently doesn't contain any words. Titled “Jeune et Poli”, it uses images as visual poetry (how French!). 

Translated in English as "young and polite", this mag certainly feels fresh, yet still contained within the parameters of a defined but malleable context, it's a provoking yet calm and melancholic publication.
